(1983) At this year’s KomiksFEST!, a graphic designer and illustrator from Portugal will present a progressive form of workshop. It is inspired by her thesis at Instituto Politécnico do Cávado e do Ave. It’s a book of art activities Livro de actividades para massajar a imaginação (Activity Book for Massaging Imagination), which received an award in the category Best Interactive Book at the last year’s Designblok, and got the ART BOOKS WANTED International Award 2014 given by the publishing house Edition Lidu. The book calls upon its owners to draw their Sunday ritual or morning face reflected in the mirror in the form of a storyboard. By doing so they can find out more about themselves and who they want to be. The author uses smart visual ideas and non-traditional material and “child’s” stylization. The Activity Book for Massaging Imagination is now published by edition lidu.
